EDGE: safety results above and beyond TPD regulations
As part of our commitment to making the safest e-liquids in the world, EDGE commissioned an independent Toxicology Study. To ensure full impartiality the study was conducted by independent specialists, toxicology consultants BIBRA and Essentra Laboratories, an accredited analytical laboratory approved by Public Health England for analysis of Tobacco Products.
The results of the study showed that EDGE vaping products produce 98.81% less harmful chemicals than cigarettes* and exceed the TPD regulations for safety. There are a number of reasons as to why we are able to create such outstandingly safe products.
One part of our process is to always use premium ingredients. We use pharmaceutical grade Nicotine, Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine in our e-liquids along with high-quality flavourings sourced from trusted UK suppliers.
We have a rigorous supplier approval process, which includes auditing and on-site visits to ensure that all of our suppliers meet our own quality control systems.
In our CBD e-liquids we use high purity CBD isolate that is laboratory tested to ensure compliance and levels of THC well below national requirements. We also operate with full traceability on components, from our bottles, caps and nibs to all the raw ingredients.
We believe premium ingredients are the best way to make premium e-liquids, so we only accept the very best.
We have also invested heavily in our state of the art manufacturing facility, located in Stockport. As the largest vaping-specific site of its kind in Europe, it is audited to GMP standards and ISO 9001 certified.
As well as containing a bespoke ISO class-7 clean facility, the EDGE headquarters have an on-site analytical laboratory staffed by skilled technical professionals.
This allows us to perform full batch testing and extensive analysis on both our finished goods and raw materials, so we can continue to deliver consistent quality and a reliable vaping experience.
