Using And Disposing Of Nicotine Pouches Correctly

  • Firstly, you'll want to take a nicotine pouch out of the can. We always recommend giving it a gentle roll between your fingers or finger and thumb when you take one out, this isn't essential but it does help break up any clumps of powder that may have formed to ultimately make the pouch more comfortable when you have it in place.

  • The recommended place to put a nicotine pouch in the mouth is between your upper gum and upper lip. You can either pull your lip forward to make the space or slide it into your mouth and get it into place between your upper lip and gum.

  • You can then leave the pouch in place for the nicotine to absorb until you fgeel your cravings for nicotine begin to subside. It's suggested to keep a pouch in for around 30-45 minutes but this can be less or longer, it depends on your personal preference.

  • And when it comes to disposing of the used nicotine pouches, there's a few ways you can do it in a sanitary and safe way. Most nicotine pouch cans will have a compartment in the top lid of the can where you can store your used nicotine pouches if you're not near a bin, which is incredibly handy at times!

    But the most sanitary way to dispose of a nicotine pouch would be to put it straight into the bin once it's finished with. We'd never advise just discarding them on the ground as this can lead to all sorts of potential risks and it's not an environmentally friendly way to dispose of a nic pouch either!

Can I Recycle Nicotine Pouch Cans?

Despite it often being referred to as a "can", Nicotine Pouches commonly come in a container which is made of plastic, and these are recyclable in either a regular household recycling bin or larger public recycling centres or bins.

Can I Reuse A Nicotine Pouch?

Nicotine Pouches are designed to be single use pouches. This is because they are activated from the moisture in the mouth and after the initial use, they'll lose potency and not be as effective as the first time you used it.
