Freebase nicotine is the purest form of nicotine, with an Alkali pH level, which results in a harsher throat hit and is better suited for lower-wattage devices. On the other hand, Nicotine Salts are created by combining nicotine with other compounds, which neutralise the pH and create a smoother throat hit. This allows for higher nicotine concentrations without the harshness, making them ideal for those who want a more intense and satisfying experience, similar to that of disposable vapes.

As nic salts are made at a 50-50 VGPG ratio, we'd recommend pairing them with any vape kit that uses coils of at least 0.8ohms or higher as this will give a mouth to lung style vape experience. It's not advised to use nic salts in a device that can operate at higher wattages as the nicotine hit from the nic salts can be quite intense, especially to those who are new to using them and it may be a bit too overpowering should they be used in a device that's running at higher wattages.
